Camping!!

We are goin campin October 8-10 at Deerlick Creek Park! We're gonna be hikin, bikin, eatin, playin games, and roastin marshmallows! We hope you and ALL your friends are able to join us for this event. Of course, parents are welcome, but not mandatory. If you want to come and your parent/guardian is not coming, it is up to you to find an adult who is going to be responsible for you. You will also be required to bring a medical release form if your parents are not coming, because you might get poison ivy or something. ;)

Who: Everyone 7th grade-12th grade + parents! woo-hoo!
How: we're gonna pack our tents and tooth brushes and settle in the woods for a few days. :)

The camping reservations will be made as a whole for the youth group so we can all be together so it is crucial that you tell us you want to come before we make reservations this Wednesday. It's $16 per night and we will be staying for 2 nights (friday and saturday night). We will be out at the campground Friday afternoon (or whenever you want to get there), all Saturday, and Sunday till about noon. We won't be heading back to Capstone for Sunday morning church, however; we're going to be doing our own service out in God's great nature!

And, your packing list:

*tent (this is pretty much necessary) 

sleeping bag and pillow + an extra blanket (it gets cold!)

*tooth brush

*toothpaste
other toiletries (wash cloths, towles, hair brush, soap, etc.)

clothing for 3 days + extra if your a disorganized person

undies

socks (lots of 'em!)

*tennis shoes

water proof shoes/boots (optional)

flashlight (who goes camping without a flashlight?!?!)
*bug spray


*absolutely necessary

These things are just the basics. If you've got a question about what to or not to bring, just ask! Once you've signed up and have let us know for SURE that you're comin, we'll get to talking about what food to bring and such. But that's to come later. :)
